Most orders are not one product in one container: they are mugs, plates, bowls and often a gift item loaded together. Because ceramic packing is bulky relative to value, volume rather than weight is usually the binding constraint for mugs and bowls, while a plate-heavy container can approach the payload limit.

• CBM per carton by item — not per piece.
• Weight per carton, against the container payload.
• Carton compression rating and the stacking plan for floor loading.
• Pieces per container in both palletised and floor-loaded modes — the difference is often a two-digit percentage.
